In this petition for review, the state seeks reversal of a superior court order granting the respondents motion to suppress evidence. The evidence was discovered by the police as a result of a late-night warrantless entry onto commercial premises for the sole purpose of securing the premises against burglary. We hold that the entry and subsequent limited search were police actions for which no warrant is required, and finding them otherwise reasonable within the meaning of the Constitution, we reverse.
